Votership
Vote+Friendship

This interactive webcomic targets young voters in Bangladesh by following the everyday campus lives of a close-knit and diverse group of university friends. Each character represents a different social reality: Tithi comes from a rural background, Ribeng represents indigenous identity, Antu navigates campus life using a wheelchair, Fuad is an urban youth marked by cynicism and doubt, and Zubayer holds strong traditional beliefs. Their contrasting perspectives and lived experiences shape the story, creating meaningful conversations around gender, social, ethnic, and disability inclusion.
Through choice-based dialogue, users engage directly with these characters and experience how different viewpoints influence civic understanding and participation. The project transforms voter education into an interactive, relatable, and emotionally grounded experience, using humor, storytelling, and real-life scenarios. By placing users inside these friendships and decisions, the webcomic encourages critical thinking, reduces political apathy, and helps young people understand not only how civic processes work, but why their participation truly matters.
